Can other group members see my private calendar details?
No. Cohezy uses "Blind Scheduling" logic. The app only identifies whether a time slot is "Free" or "Busy" based on your connected Google Calendar. We never transmit appointment titles, descriptions, or attendee lists to other members.
What data does Cohezy collect?
We collect your name and email via Google Sign-In to create your profile. Group chat messages are stored securely to keep your conversations synced across devices. We do not collect or store the details of your existing personal appointments.
Sync & Notifications
Does Cohezy work across both iPhone and Android?
Yes! Cohezy is designed for cross-platform continuity. If you snooze or complete a task on your Android phone, the notification will instantly disappear from your iPad or other linked devices.
Why didn't my reminder fire on time? (Android)
Android devices often delay notifications to save battery. To ensure your reminders fire exactly when due, go to the Cohezy Onboarding or Settings and ensure "Battery Unrestricted" permission is granted.

What are "Linked Tasks"?
Linked tasks are reminders strictly tied to a specific event (e.g., "Take Medication" 2 hours before a doctor's visit). If the event moves on your calendar, Cohezy automatically shifts the task reminder to match.
How does the "Custom Snooze" work?
Instead of choosing from a list, you can type natural phrases like "tomorrow at 9" or "in 20m" directly into the notification. Cohezy uses deterministic inputs to update your reminder without guessing.
